Staff Bio:

I’m Ariana Martinez, Site Director at Vanguard Upper. I’m from Brownsville, Texas and I speak both English and Spanish. I’m very passionate about working with children, and I enjoy getting to know each one.

To me it’s very important to build a healthy student and teacher bond so trust and honesty between both parties is strong. Along with building a good relationship with parents, because it’s very important to have good communication and to ensure their children are in great hands.

Some of my previous experience working with children was when I taught 2nd grade. I strive to make children feel safe, happy, and important everyday while they’re in my care.
